I dedicated three months to the creation of these paintings, during which I revisited my family's archives and delved into the depths of my own memory. Among the treasures predating 2009, I stumbled upon an aged, somewhat blurred photograph, exhibiting telltale signs of the photographer's unsteady hand. I embarked on a meticulous analysis of the photograph, scrutinizing its colors and lighting. Employing the technique of oil photography, I dissected and examined specific portions of the image. My objective was to uncover not only when and where the picture was taken but also to discern the distinctive features of the individuals captured within it.
