I am a Palestinian artist who was growing up in Jerusalem | Silwan. I witnessed the harsh realities of occupation, such as home demolitions and ongoing excavations, which left a lasting impact on my memory. My artistic involves manipulating materials, both archival and non-archival, to create works that delve into the intricate web of political and social issues interwoven with violence.Through my art, I aim to capture the visceral essence of these experiences and produce pieces that serve as a testament to the political and social unrest that pervades our reality. My exposure, both theoretically and physically, has fueled the creation of art that painstakingly documents the stark truths mirroring the political and social violence that exists in our world.
